Dave Hannigan began dancing at the age of 5 and trained in Ballroom, Latin American dancing, Old Time, Modern dance and Latin. Dave is an excellent instructor for your first salsa dance lesson! He has had previous experience in Ireland training students in Latin American dancing. Dancing became a big part of Dave’s life at the age of 9. He said goodbye to sports like Soccer, Gaelic and Hurling, all sports a young Irish boy loves and committed himself to dancing, from which he’s never looked back. Dave’s favorite aspect about teaching dance is watching the couples under his instruction improve and progress in dancing. Most of all making sure they enjoy the experience of the dance lesson just as Dave did!
Dance Career Highlights All Ireland Old Time, Modern and Latin American Sequence Champion five years running. Starred in the Irish show “Twelve to One“, the first series ever of it’s kind in Ireland in which Dave’s team became finalists.
