Tibor
Kerekes is co-owner of SuperShag Mega Dance Complex. He brings
over 20 years of dance experience to the studio and his dance
instruction.
Tibor is passionate about helping people express themselves
through dance.He is certified in International Standard, International Latin, American Smooth, American Rhythm and Theater Arts.
Students say that his zeal inspires them to
overcome their inhibitions and become better dancers. A Hungarian
native, before coming to America to work at the Fred Astaire
Dance Studio, Tibor was a member of Hungary's prestigious
National Formation Team, which led him to seek a career in
professional ballroom dance.
Tibor was a three-time finalist in the Hungarian Grand Prix, a semi-finalist in the 10-Dance World Cup, and a three-time third place finalist in the Hungarian 10-Dance Championship.
A choreographer and a seasoned dance professional with a focus on Ballroom and Latin dance, Tibor is also accomplished in theater arts and acrobatics, including lifts and aerials. His coaches include world-class professionals Michael Stylianos, Alan Fletcher,Nadia Eftedal, Johan Eftedal, Sergio Congo, Michael Ventink, David Hamilton, Jonathan Wilkins and Kathusa Demidova.
